Generating Content with AI

Audience: Site owners (end users)

ScaffolderJS is fundamentally driven by Artificial Intelligence to radically speed up your site building process.

AI "Generate All" (Bulk Generation)

If you've established the skeleton of an entire website but don't want to type placeholder text manually, use the Generate All tool.

  1. Create a page and populate it with several empty sections (e.g., Hero, Features, Testimonials).
  2. Look for the Generate All (Sparkles) button in the Floating Builder Panel.
  3. A modal appears to confirm the process.
  4. Click to begin! The AI reads your site's global name, its core description, and automatically derives professional copy in context for every empty section across your entire project simultaneously.
  5. A progress tracker displays the real-time AI generation status. It will systematically fill in text and intelligently pick relevant imagery.

Tip: Any hand-written sections are ignored, ensuring that only empty sections receive new AI copy.

Protecting Human Edits

If you've already handwritten the exact prose needed for one section but wish to securely run the Generate All process across the remainder of your pages, you can purposefully Lock human text:

  1. Locate the finalized section either in the Floating Builder Panel or in the live preview.
  2. Click the Lock icon.
  3. Run the Generate All AI function safely, knowing the specific section is securely ignored during the processing loop.

Transform Variants Migration

When building pages, you might realize an existing 3-column feature component is poorly highlighting a singular powerful product feature.

  1. Click the specific component in the Live Preview and look for the Change Variant (Crossing Arrows) icon.
  2. The AI will gracefully swap the visual structure of the layout (perhaps assigning a "Hero Left Aligned" component), intelligently mapping and adapting your pre-existing headers, descriptions, and list-items to the new format seamlessly, without data loss!

Site from URL and SEO

If you utilized the "Create site from URL" project flow on the primary dashboard, note that the AI already pre-migrated all textual layout and mapped appropriate legal pages (Terms, Privacy) to the footer. The Site Builder ensures these complex AI mappings are displayed consistently inside your Editor exactly as they appear live.
